Best practices for removing the carrier from ILC material
ILC thermoformable, performance caps achieve lamination bond during our manufacturing process but are designed to fully bond to the plastic substrate during the forming process. We recommend that care be taken when removing the protective carrier from the sheet. To assist in the process, our operators pop one corner of the carrier and mark it with a piece of tape. The carrier should be carefully removed from the taped/ “popped” corner.
